Problem: Pigeons roosting and nesting in under ceiling areas with droppings creating mess and health hazard as well as potential for bird air strike because of the birds’ presence were the issue.
Solution: Installed ¾ inch mesh black knotted polyethylene netting on a cable support system from the ceiling, working around complex system of electrical, plumbing and active moving mechanisms to exclude birds from nesting and roosting in these areas.
Result: Client areas secured from nesting and roosting for the cessation of bird droppings and the provision for safe flights to and from this airport.
